Lawless Bonds
A poem I wrote once upon a time....
A link between two things
A forbidden connection
A love between two beings
following no laws
Simple joy,
not empty laughter.
A widespread reverence
between life and land.
Just a feeling,
a chilling breeze
making the water
spray from the sea.
A light in the dark,
a fire at night.
Night of the new moon,
darkness transcending light.
And age old battle
between canine and feline.
Opposite forces,
yet somehow linked.
All of these things,
two opposing entities.
All linked to another,
by lawless bonds.
