The above mentioned website has a program called freewrite. You basically write anything nonstop for at least 3 minutes based on the topic. I ended up with this.
Charming...
That's all there is to it
A mockery...
Of the way we go through it
Life...
In which we exist
Consciousness...
The will to resist
Charming...
A handsome prince
A mockery...
Of all of them since
Life...
Loving and losing
Consciousness...
The awareness of choosing
Charming is appealing
And charming is gross
Charming says it all
And all says the most
In addition to that, I used this style called Laurenova . My only problem with the following poem (titled We) is that the first and last stanzas don't really fit together, though the middle ones work. I'm going to try to rework that.
With the strength of writers arms
on which we can rely
we write of innocent smiles
and we hope these feelings stay
We alone can witness life
as we record both vice and charms
we build a piece that is enduring
with the strength of writer's arms
All we know is what we feel
and all we hope to do is try
to understand the heart of words
on which we can rely
We are the activists of this world
we will go five extra miles
we are the observers
we write of innocent smiles
We are somedays dreamers
so let come what may
for us there is always hope
and we hope these feelings stay
